Sistine Chapel and St Peter's. Tour was too long, 5 hours, no seats. Tour guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable, but needs to shorten some of the commentary, especially at the front end

I believe it is necessary to book a tour with a guide so everything runs smoothly without questions and queues. The specific tour was fine, we met at the meeting point and spend the first hour walking inside and explaining the paintings in Sistina chappel. Worth spending money since it is a unique experience. Prefer to visit weekdays rather than during the weekend as it is less crowded.

Went in end-Nov24 in low season. Small size tour group with about a dozen tourists. Great lady guide w archaelogy backgrouns and 25 experience. Fast entry into Colosseum and area to skip the long line and save time queuing. Everybody got an earpiece for guide to talk in our ear while walking. Great explanations and interesting stories making history come alive. Tour continued to Roman Forum with the same storytelling experience. Well worth the price. An experience to remember.

We had a blast. The experience went smoothly and was exactly as advertised, plus we went on the last tour of the day so there was virtually no crowd. Carl was the best tour guide I've ever had - he was incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and had a great sense of humor. If your schedule is flexible, it's worth calling ahead to see if you can book whatever tour he is working that day.

If you do not want to waste hours then its the best thing you can do. Our guide was Filippo and he was very experienced, he guide us through and explained and showed us things which we would definately miss if we were alone. One bad thing is that the location given is the end point, so that was stressful because we run to reaxh our tour after we contacted the operator, however they were very helpful and luckily we did not missed our tour (thats why my review is missing a star)

If you are visiting the Vatican for only the morning, this is a great way to see the museums and skip the line to St Peter’s Basilica. Our tour guide (Joya) was absolutely lovely and provided a wonderful overview of the art and history of the Sistine Chapel and Vatican Museums.

Our guide today was Shanti! He is nice and knowledgeable! But he was walking very fast and it was moderately crowded, at times it was very hard to keep track with him. He was wearing a hat and was taking it off time to time! He looked totally different with or without a hat! I think he will be better off carrying a flag stick so he can be recognized from far! I understand he has to cover a lot and he will have to guide several tours but you have to understand we are tourist and we came here to see and enjoy and we paid for the trip! We were moderately disappointed. Please don't get me wrong I am not overly criticizing but he could slow down a scale both in walking on the road and inside the place! Regards
