Joel was an absolutely brilliant tour guide. He was prompt, friendly and seemed to have a sixth sense on where all the animals were on our day in the National Park. We saw everything we wanted to see and it was a truly special experience

Majestic safari

Oh my goodness, the safari was simply majestic. We had wonderful views of all the animals except the lion. We saw the ears of the lion, but it was around 5pm. I suggest going in the early morning. What a wonderful experience!

The park itself was amazing. Seeing and experiencing the big animals in their habitat was spectacular. The guide was knowledgeable, patient, kind and generous not to mention professional making sure our time was well spent and memorable.

Great safari, lots of animals!

We decided to do this tour while transiting through Nairobi and it was so worth it! We got picked up from the airport on time and were even taken to get some food before the tour. The tour surpassed my expectations! I couldn't believe how many animals we saw, I lost count of the amount of rhinos, lions and giraffes etc. (I understand this is also due to luck sometimes, but also the willingness of our guide to go deep into the park) We saw lions, gazelles, giraffes, impalas, water buffalo, crocodiles, hippos, zebras, little monkeys, warthogs, rhinos, vultures, a python and a jackal. We saw lots of beautiful animals at the Nairobi National Park and James was very kind to add the Sheldrick Baby Elephant Sanctuary to our itinerary. Only 4 stars because the vehicle needs new suspension. The roads are very bumpy and the van was very old and uncomfortable. I also wish James shared more information.

I never did the tour and have been waiting for over a month for a refund. My advice, if you want a company that respects you as client and visitor, think twice before using Kenya tours and safaris. After I had confirmed prior to booking that the tour will take place (since I was by myself), I booked. Just to find one hour before the tour, and only after I reached out to confirm, that there is no one else. They asked me to move my tour the next day, but I was leaving Kenya. Tehy gave the excuse the weather was not good to spot ankmals. Then, they offered a private tour with additional cost! When I complained, they did me the "favor" to keep the same price of 160 usd. Then they refused to come pick me up, because I was far. I was not. I told them that these discussions, literally after the time the tour should have started are unacceptable. I reiterated from beginning to end that I never signed up for a private tour and I do not consent to it. Then they had the audacity to tell me I canceled and never refund me. Although the director told me that partial refund is possible. I wrote an official complaint but no answer yet. My worst experience in Kenya. I will not stop asking for my rights until I get an apology and a refund.

The park itself is nice. However the time spent in the park was just over 3 hours. Transfer back to accomodation was by uber since the van was used to take some people to next destination. The van had problems with shock absorbtion; being thrown repeatedly above your seat up to 10 cm, while the speed is just 20-25 km/h is not acceptable.

driver were able to get us to spots with action. the wildlife was amazing. The pick-up was an hour late, though. for a four hour tour, an hour is pretty significant amount of time lost
