Check-in 7.30am. Google Maps 233 Maalaea Road, places you in front of US Coast Guard building. The pier is to your left. Walk onto the pier, turn left and go to the very end. Look for the large white boat with black and gold trim that says Pride of Maui on its side.

WE HAVE TWO BOATS ON OPPOSITE SIDES OF THE HARBOR. MAKE SURE YOU ARE PARKING AND CHECKING IN AT THE RIGHT LOCATION AS IT IS A LONG WALK TO THE OTHER SIDE.

Superb experience

Snorkeling was amazing. Highly recommend this tour. I don’t know swimming but the lifeguards on the boat were very helpful and made sure I was all setup right for the snorkeling, and I enjoyed every bit of my experience.

Awesome experience and crew. Helped me with any concerns and fears I had and then was off annd a rolled the whole time! Everyone onboard was friendly and we supported each other. Food was great and when we saw whales they took time to stop and let us watch. We were lucky to have a whale breach right in front of the boat! Excellent experience all around and can’t wait to return and go again!

Checking in was seamless and took maybe 30 seconds. Breakfast and lunch were provided. Drinks after snorkeling were good. Snorkeling itself was great. Loved the area! The crew were monitoring us on surfboards and I never felt like I could accidentally ventured to the wrong area without them making sure I turned back. The crew was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely do this again.

Great experience once we got started. Crew was very good. Fun to talk with and outstanding boating skills. The frustrating part was being asked to arrive at 730 for check in at 745. Then no one from the company arrives until after 800. Then we don't leave until 830. Not good.

Aloha, Thank you for the 5 stars. Our crew arrives at the harbor at 6:00 AM daily, to provision the boat. At 7:30 sharp, we arrive at the main loading dock and start boarding our guests at 7:45 sharp. After a safety briefing and orientation from the Captain, we depart at 8:00 AM everyday, day in and day out, for the past 40 years. This is the first EVER review that states otherwise. My crew said they are just as confused as me by your statement that the boat left 30 minutes late.

Pretty fish but no turtles

Pretty snorkeling, attentive staff. Good snorkeling. Beautiful clear water and colorful fish. For those looking for turtles, you will have more luck snorkeling right off beaches in Kihea and Wailea.

Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles are plentiful in many locations, including Turtle Town, our second stop. However, they are wild animals with patterns driven by the conditions (wind, current, waves, etc.), regardless of where you are snorkeling. Fortunately, they do congregate at Turtle Town regularly, and your chances of seeing them is likely. We are glad you had a wonderful time at Molokini, and enjoyed the exceptional visibility and marine animals. My team is attentive because they love what they do, and sharing their wealth of knowledge with our guests.

Sounds like you don’t know much about large stable catamarans. In our case, Pride of Maui is the largest and most stable Maxi Power Catamaran on Maui. We also offer a smaller luxury catamaran excursion aboard our sister catamaran, Pride of Maui Elua. . Both of our CATAMARANS offer exceptional service, delicious food, and visit Molokini Crater and other exceptional snorkeling destinations. The catamaran you chose provides over 2,500 Square Feet of open space. Her sprawling upper deck offers over 1500 square feet of unobstructed panoramic viewing and photo opportunities. Downstairs, in the main cabin, is a large hardwood bar, warm freshwater showers, easy access swim platforms and submerged ladders. Pride of Maui is equipped with a super water slide, for kids of all ages to enjoy, and 5 options for entering the water. Pride of Maui is famous for her stability and smooth ride. She offers more space per passenger than the smaller catamarans and single hull vessels and has been a family favorite for decades. If you are more interested in an intimate luxury catamaran experience, you do have the opportunity to choose our brand new yacht, Pride of Maui “Elua. Though she is a little more expensive, some of our guests prefer a yacht with fewer passenger, elegant furnishings and fixtures such as soft flooring, quartz tables, and thick cushioned couches and seating, dynamic audio, large pristine restrooms featuring touch less fixtures. Elua is in a class of her own and might well have been a better option for you, than our family friendly and as you noted, FUN excursion catamaran.

Great half day on the water

Wonderful half day of boating and snorkeling. We were able to sign up for Snuba on the boat even though no experience. We saw two turtles which was a highlight along with some whales along the way. Staff wonderful. Would definitely recommend!

Pride of Maui is the number one SNUBA provider in the country, having taken more people SNUBA diving than any other provider. This time of the year we see whales everyday, until the end of March.

Superior Experience

This is a top notch outfit. The staff/crew were the BEST!!! They were very helpful with my spouse who wanted to snorkel but, because of a disability needed a little extra help with getting in and out of the water. They were WONDERFUL!!! Food was great, drinks were great, snorkeling was good at Molokini but great at Turtle Town. We also got to see some whales--added bonus. Definitely worth the price.

This was truly a once in a lifetime experience. It started with the incredible service provided by the pride of Maui and how they made sure we had plenty of room, delicious food, friendly service and valuable training for snorkeling. Their service was only surpassed by the beautiful snorkeling, water, fish, turtles and whales we saw during our trip. It was an experience we will remember for the rest of our life. We can not recommend this enough as it was the best excursion we have ever went on and well worth the money. These people know how to do it right.

Excellent adventure on the Pride of Maui!! Great communication and directions to find parking and the boat. Crew was excellent and very helpful!! Breakfast and lunch was outstanding!! We saw whales, a turtle, and even an octopus!! Boat was not over crowded and plenty of room to move around!! We loved it!! Highly recommend!!

Snorkeling in Molokini Crater is a must do when you’re in Maui. Our trip on The Pride of Maui was great! The boat is spacious and comfortable, the crew was absolutely amazing, and lunch was delicious. There is also an option to SNUBA while there and it is a great addition to the experience. We will definitely book this trip again!
